    Reliving An Epic And Classic Sci-Fi Film With Star Wars T-Shirts And Other Collectibles

     

    Just a day ago (or several hours before, depending on which country and time zone you are on), the annual Star Wars day was celebrated. Around the world and on various popular social networking sites, there was a resounding greeting of “May the Force be with you”. There were also numerous Star Wars-themed parties and events last May the Fourth and fans were not at all shy or hesitant to come out wearing their favorite Jedi or Sith-inspired costumes.

     

    But even if the fourth of May has come and gone, there is no denying the fact of just how big a phenomenon Star Wars is. And it’s all thanks to the incomparable genius, imagination and creative-thinking of George Lucas.

     

    Star Wars, with the first original film from the two trilogies A New Hope, made its debut in pop culture fandom on the 25th of May, in 1977. As of today, six films have been officially released by George Lucas, with another sequel trilogy already under the planning stages. This unrivalled franchise has also stretched into an “Expanded Universe” wherein numerous books, comic books, TV shows and games have also been introduced into the public, which also gained a massive number of followers, readers and gamers.

     

    And if you’re just starting to get interested in this Sci-fi classic, you have a lot of catching up to do! Once you’re done with the six movie marathon, you can start watching the different cartoon spin-offs and reading the books and comics. And of course, you need to start working on your Star Wars merchandise collection.

     

    Whether you see yourself (in your imagination, of course) as a Jedi knight or a dark Sith, below are some staple Star Wars merchandise that you need to have in your collection:

     

    A lightsaber. Whether you get a small light saber or a life-size one, red, blue or green-colored, no collection can be complete without having this weapon of choice of both antagonists and protagonists of this awesome film.

     

    A white robe. For all Jedi knight-wannabes, you also need to have a white robe or the full outfit of Luke Skywalker to of course, accompany your lightsaber.

     

    A black helmet and cape. Include replicas of Darth Vader’s iconic fill-faced helmet and cape in your collection. After all, Star Wars isn’t Star Wars without this epic and one of the greatest movie villains of all time.

     

    Star Wars T-shirts. There are different styles and designs to choose from that you will certainly not run out of space for in your collection for these cool T-shirts. You will surely show your devotion and utmost love for Star Wars more when you have and wear Star Wars T-shirts.
