    BringBackOurGirls - Los Angeles

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     NafisaM, a Nigerian who is currently living in Los Angeles, participated in a #BringBackOurGirls awareness rally on Sunday, May 4, called "RockACrownLA." "Everyone was wearing a crown," she said. She said that the mood was sad and that the people were frustrated because of the lack of coverage the incident was receiving, as well as the lack of information the Nigerian government has about the kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls. "However, there was also hope, as random strangers, Nigerians and non-Nigerians came out to show support the campaign," she said.

These photos were taken by photographer R.See, who photographs special moments from people's lives like weddings and engagements. He wrote of the event on his website, "I am grateful to share in this experience as my heart aches for the safety of these young ladies. Please pray for our sisters in Nigeria! I challenge you to start a conversation with someone you do not know and spread the word."
