Oil Slick at Floor of Gulf Waters

I accidentally stirred the floor of a canal off Sarasota Bay, less than one mile from New Pass to the Gulf of Mexico and petroleum smelling oil slicks rose up from the bottom and stayed afloat long enough for me to take some pictures and skim off some samples. BP's oil spill dispersant makes oil sink to the floor of the gulf. The plume of the dispersant oil emulsion was long ago known to be headed our way.
