    Being a countertenor

Hello! I am writing you this message from a very beautiful transylvanian city called Cluj-Napoca. Since 2007 when my parents divorced my whole world changed. One year later me and mom were forced to move with my grandparents in a small, old house because we couldn`t afford to pay our bills. Now I am studying Communication and PR at a faculty in my hometown and thanks to my good grades I managed to receive a monthly scholarship. In the last years I was envolved in a lot of volunteer activities such as being a screening assistant at film festivals or helping the people in need. Music was always an important part of my life but the last year I discovered that I have the gift of being a countertenor. Since then I practiced alone in my room just watching other sopranos on the internet.Unfortunately I don`t have enough money to improve my technique. My biggest dream is to be able to visit the U.S and to perform in front of an audience. This year brought me the chance of visiting the U.S when an american company offered me a summer job due to my good grades but unfortunately I had to refuse this offer because I didn`t had 2000$ to pay the plane ticket and other travelling expenses. I still believe that one day I will be able to make this dream come true. I see this iReport segment as a chance for me to share my talent and my story with the world and maybe I will get the chance of visiting this beautiful country! I will end my report here with a lot of hope in my heart! P.S sorry for any language mistakes and for the bad quality video!
