Fire Photo & 911 call - Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office

    Update: May 9, 2014

The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner identified the 4 victims as Darrin, Kimberly, Colin and Megan Campbell today.  Hillsborough County Sheriff Office Colonel Donna Lucszynski confirmed that Darrin Campbell shot his wife, Kimberly and 2 children and that he spread fireworks and gasoline around the mansion and lit them before shooting himself and taking his own life. Detectives learned Campbell bought a large quantity of fireworks from store video.  Darrin Campbell also purchased gas cans from a home improvement store on Sunday, May 4th and filled them with gasoline at two local gas stations on May 6th, the day before the fire.

Detectives are interviewing friends, family members and co-workers of the Campbell family to find out why Darrin Campbell murdered his family and set the fire in the mansion. Detectives also found out that he took a few days off from work. A financial audit of Darrin Campbell also is being done.
