The Invisible Class: Homelessness In The Bay Area
"The Invisible Class" is a documentary that examines the social, political and economic aspects of homelessness in the
Bay Area as well as searches to break down the myths that areperpetuated about destitute individuals in American society.
With so much talk about the middle class and how the economic crisis is going to immediately impact them from both the Democratic and Republican parties, there should also be a discussion about how it has already affected people who live at or below the poverty line.
Who is homeless? How did these individuals and families become homeless? These are all good questions to begin a
healthy dialogue about an issue that many people feel uneasy or uncomfortable about.
