Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks in Tanzania

I had the joy of going on a safari in Tanzania in 2012 and two of our stops were in national parks.

If you ever get the opportunity to go, you should. The Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras is phenomenal. The sight of 2 million animals as far as the eye can see just hanging out munching on the grass is awe-inspiring.

The terrain in Tarangire National Park was more rugged than Serengeti National Park. There were overlooks where you could see a river below you with 20+ elephants bathing in and playing near the water.

The elephants were in Tarangire National Park while the zebras were in Serengeti National Park.
