    Davis Gulch on Lake Powell

Recently I took a trip up Lake Powell in Utah. The lake has gotten to such low levels that waterfalls have been exposed and large caverns usually filled with water are open. The arch shown in the 3d photo people can drive boats through when the reservoir is more full. The waterfalls will be completely covered by rising water as this years snowpack in the Rockies melts . The window of opportunity was short and it was great to hike up the Davis gulch canyon and see it as it existed for thousands of years before Glen Canyon Dam was built.
