    Missing Motorcyclist - Alan Porter

Alan Porter was last seen in Sacramento County on Tuesday, April 29th around 10am, on his blue 2004 Yamaha FZ6 motorcycle License #17A6962, wearing a white full-faced helmet and dark jeans.

Alan Porter: 59-year-old male (DOB Sep. 30, 1955), 6 feet 3 inches, 195 pounds, with brown-graying hair and blue eyes.

Alan Porter was the Sacramento City Regional Planner; he is a dedicated father, does not have a history of mental illness, was not on medications and did not drink. He always rode alone, exploring new back and rural roads; we have no knowledge of the direction he would have been traveling or of an intended destination. We have searched a 200mile radius by air, water and search parties walking hundreds of roads exploring ditches, levees and thick vegetation.

We are viewing what little local surveillance camera footage we can get ahold of and at this point he was last seen via Gunther's ice cream store camera leaving his neighborhood (Castro Way, Sacramento) at 10:11am on Tuesday, April 29th; then he purchased gas at the 76 station on 9th at 10:21am.

We have a Facebook group, “Find Alan Porter”, as well as a website, “FindAlanPorter.com”, which we are updating with all information. http://www.findalanporter.com

Anyone with information regarding Porter’s whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s dispatch center at (916) 264-5471.
