About Rose Bowl Stadium
Rose Bowl Stadium is located in Pasadena California in Los Angeles County. It is a natural grass stadium and the home field of football team of University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). It hosts the annual event of college football bowl game on the New year' Day. A lot of international events have so far being organized in this stadium. May events during 1932 and 1984 Olympics were also hosted here. The final of 1994 FIFA world cup final was also played at this stadium. The stadium has undergone many renovation phases since its inception and the seating capacity has been changed from time to time as per the extension plan. At present many seating options are available which includes Club Seats, Loge Boxes, Suites and photo gallery among others. The stadium was originally built as a horse shoe and was designed by architect Myron Hunt in 1921. Later in 1928, the southern stands were built to give it a complete bowl shape.
Rose Bowl Stadium' tickets can be purchased online or alternatively from Gate B of the stadium from Thursday to Sunday between 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. The ticket for tour of the stadium with an official guide is $ 17.50 per adult whereas $ 14.50 for Kids, Senior Citizens, Military Personnel and students. About the Tour
Guided Tours are arranged by the stadium for general public at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm from Thursday to Sunday. Depending on stadium operations, group tour of 20 or more is available anytime. Group tours could be booked throughout the week anytime between 10:00 am to 04:30 pm. A guided tour for groups usually last for one and half hour approximately. It starts from Gate B of the stadium outside of the tours tickets booth. Parking is free outside of Gate B. The group tours are required to be booked at least a week in advance. The tour timings and locations can be changed depending on the operations in the stadium. It is therefore advisable to check the blackout dates always before planning a visit. How to Reach the Stadium
Rose Bowl is located at a convenient place in the heart of Pasadena having an easy accessibility from all over Southern California. Parking for visitors is available at Gate F during non-event days.
