    Zatarain's Worlds Largest Crawfish Boil!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Cheryl MacDonald and Lisa Chavis, travel bloggers for What Boundaries Travel, volunteered at what was touted as the world's largest crawfish boil in honor of Zatarain's 125 anniversy in New Orleans on Sunday, May 11. The event was held at Champions Square next to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome where 27,000 pounds of crawfish were boiled and sold to attendees, raising an estimated $40,000 for the Second Harvest Food Bank, according to local news outlet WDSU.

"We were visiting New Orleans to visit family and decided to volunteer at this event to help raise money and support the great cause," Chavis said. "The best part was the crawfish and great music; we had a great day of delicious food and local music."
