    Salute to troops

    Youngest Army Graduate

A salute to my son Private First Class Thomas Cole Duffield, who at 17 was the youngest to graduate on May 8, from Ft Benning, Ga. Thomas knew at age 7 he wanted to be a soldier like his mom and dad and from that day forward Thomas has focused his time to becoming a soldier. He learned everything there is about what it takes to be a soldier, finishing high school early and signing up at sixteen. He was promoted twice before he was promoted twice before attending Basic Training. Robin, I Salute my Son Private Thomas Cole Duffield because he is An American Soldier; a warrior, physically and mentally tough, and proficiently trained to defend his country. To my son PFC Duffield, I am in AWE of you!
