    Tipton High School Competes at State... Again!

    TIPTON, Okla. -- The Tipton High School boy’s golf team placed 6th in the regional 3A golf tournament on Monday, May 5 to advance to the state tournament. The Tipton, Okla., golf team consists of juniors Bryce Coronado and Zachary Waugh, sophomores Brandon Cryer and Conley Gilbert and freshman Jacob Waugh. Tipton’s golf coach is Todd Gilbert. The team will travel to Enid, Okla., for the state golf tournament, which will be played Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13. The golfers will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The Tipton golf team made history for their school, being the only golf team ever to compete at the state level. The golf team is the 5th athletic team from Tipton High School to reach state this school year.
