MH370 Inspired App: Flight-Tracker helps flight passengers cope in an event of a tragedy.

Flight Tracker App to Enable Passengers to Provide Updates on Whereabouts

A soon-to-be-launched app, Flight Tracker, will enable aircraft passengers to provide location updates.

May 15, 2014 – Flight Tracker is a recently announced app that will soon be launched for all aircraft passengers. It will enable users to keep loved ones informed on their whereabouts. Location coordinates are tracked and displayed so one can see where a person of interest is in case of an accident.

There are several features of the new app. One of them is SOS signaling. This function enables users to send out GPS coordinates, adding to the software’s ability to empower users to update loved ones.

“Last Message” is another feature. Passengers can draft a last message to their loved ones, which is delivered only if something happens to the plane. In the wake of the Malaysian Airlines MH370 disaster, it is clear corporations and airlines are not always able to provide adequate updates. The app is a step in preparing for such a tragedy.

In fact, Flight Tracker is designed to provide closure to loved ones if a passenger is involved in an airplane accident. Instant updates provide family members with information or closure when an incident does occur.

More details will be announced as the Flight Tracker release nears. Visit: www.flight-tracker.mobi if you are interested in being a Beta User.
