Dodger stadium has forced its maintenance team to no longer use brooms. Now janitors must manually pick up all the trash in the stadium, piece-by-piece with their hands. After interviewing some janitors, who wish to remain anonymous, they complained that they are also treated harshly and told to cut corners in cleaning wherever possible to save the company money, for example, not properly stocking the paper in the restrooms or even using a mop to clean spills. While this may not seem serious at first read, imagining bending over for 4 hours a night, possibly injuring your back when you could have avoid all the pain by using a broom. Union disputes have arisen because of this. Seems like the Dodgers are truly forcing their employees to bend over for them.
