In North Oxford, on our way to a famous pub called 'The Trout Inn' which the Inklings (J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and other writers) used to visit after a long walk up from their colleges along the Thames River, we spotted this quaint looking cottage that almost reminded us of a Hobbit house. Love the thatched roof and yellow shutters which give a cozy feel. Although it's only a 20 minute bus ride from central Oxford, we felt as though we had traveled back in time to a more relaxed age in England.
