    A Valiant Effort

When the Tomahawk fire at Camp Pendleton first started, it was left to burn for 2 hours before this valiant machine was sent to 'control' bucket at a time. Had ALL of their available and unused resources been put on it, it would have been out in a day. We are now on day 4, over 6,000 acres for just this one fire. Two others are also still burning on the base…total of over 22,000 acres so far. None are contained.
