    Trulli buildings

Alberobello, a city in Puglia, Italy is built mainly in Trulli style that dates to the 16th and 17th centuries. Trulli are built with no mortar of limestone from the countryside. The walls are very thick and usually whitewashed, and the roof is conical, also built of stone. This is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
