New NISMO 370Z unveiled by Nissan

Nissan unveiled a refreshed and refined 2015 NISMO 370Z last week at the annual ZDAYZ gathering in North Carolina. The new Z has both interior and exterior styling changes, more technology and new performance parts.

Nissan says the most striking change is to the exterior, which has GT-R inspired aerodynamic body parts which also provide aggressive styling. There are new LED daytime running lights, a smaller spoiler at the back, and red NISMO accents, much like the Juke NISMO RS.

The 370Z rides on new super-lightweight wheels from RAYS, which have a new twin-five spoke design and are in a machined, charcoal-gray finish. New seats from Recaro are found inside the cabin, which are black and red leather with Alcantara accents.
For the first time, a tech package will be available on the 370Z NISMO, which adds navigation, touch screen display, rear view camera, Bose audio system and Bluetooth streaming.

The engine is up 18 horsepower over standard 370Z models, with 350 hp from the 3.7 liter V6. Transmission choices are a 6-speed manual with SynchroRev Match downshifting and a newly available 7-speed automatic with paddle shifters and rev matching system.

The new NISMO 370Z should be arriving at dealers sometime in July, joining the Juke NISMO and the recently introduced GT-R NISMO.
