Doboj after the flood - Bosnia

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Serhatlic took these photos of the damage left by a deadly flood in Doboj, Bosnia-Herzegovina. She says that the road featured in these photos just re-opened after being closed for days, and that the police are currently controlling traffic in order to clear the road for emergency vehicles. "Roads are damaged a lot. On both sides of the road, you can see how water flushed all the rock and material under the asphalt."

The area received torrential rain last week that has caused chest-high flooding in some areas and displaced 30,000 people in Bosnia-Herzegovina alone, according to Bosnian officials. Officials in the country stated they have 13 confirmed deaths and expect the number to rise as the water recedes. Read more about the deadly flooding in the Balkans on CNN.
