Updated 2015 Infiniti QX80 launches this year

The range-topping Infiniti QX80 will soon be getting a large list of new features and enhancements for the 2015 model year. The exterior design has been changed to better reflect the styling direction of the new Q50, and new safety features will be available. Edmunds named the QX80 one of its “Most Popular on Edmunds.com Premium Luxury SUVs.”

Predictive Forward Collision Warning has been added to the QX80, which warns the driver of risks that may be out of the driver’s field of view. The system is able to monitor both the car directly in front of it and the car preceding it, helping to avoid accidents. All of the advanced safety features are available in a new Driver Assistance Package.

A new Limited trim level is being added, which Infiniti says has even more craftsman ship than standard QX80s, with new interior colors and wood trim offerings. There is a new Statford Burl-trimmed steering wheel and leather door panels.

Load leveling suspension and Bose audio system remain standard, and there is a choice between either a 7 or 8-passenger seating layout. When equipped with a towing package, the QX80 can also tow up to 8,500 pounds, making it a great vehicle for family vacations.

The 2015 model should be making its way to dealer lots later this year.
