    Lt.Col. Allen West vs. Ron Klein | Florida

     
    BOCA RATON, OCT.12th. 2008 The elegant B'nai Israel Synagogue in Boca Raton, was the place of one of the debates between the Lt.Col. Allen West, running in District 22, Florida, for the U.S. Congress and the Congressman Ron Klein. The host and moderator of this city-hall style and forum discussion was Rabbi Richard Agler. Sherry Buffa, Director of Marketing and Programming, was collecting the questions from the gathered public of more than 200 adults and students. For more than 2 hours the candidate (Allen West) and the incumbent (Ron Klein) were responding to public questions on emigrations, security, jobs markets, current financial crisis, work market, the international war on terror, stem cell research, energy policy, government control and intervention, alternative sources of energy, same-sex marriages, abortion, infrastructure, international political situation, etc. Other points discussed were a secure America, energy independence, economic restoration, fiscal responsibilities, natural disaster insurance, education, health care improvement and supporting our troops. I HEREBY PLEDGE THE ABOVE TO THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA AND OF FLORIDA DISTRICT 22, were the words at the conclusion of his speech. At the end of the forum both Allen West and Ron Klein accompanied by Rabbi Agler, held a private meeting with the students of the high school senior promotion, on employment and education.
