    Thai military declares coup

    Dangerous times in Bangkok

What happens when you bring a country to it's knees? Is your name Prayuth, Abhisit, Suthep?

What becomes of you? Is there no retribution? No penalty? No payback?

The answer is simple, NO to all.

Thailand as everyone knows has been gripped by anti democracy protests for months. Despite the best efforts of the previous government and the international community Thailand has gone back in time 20 years.

There is no longer any TV, expressing opinion on social media is dangerous to say the least. There has as yet been no violence but that looks sure to change.

The arrest and continued detention of leaders from most factions has ignited a time bomb that when it explodes will cause massive destruction.

The surprising thing is that had martial law been left in place only and existing arrest warrants acted upon then Thailand could have returned to normal.

So what's the deal? Who are the winners? Nobody won, shortly after losing the best PM Thailand has ever seen it was robbed at gunpoint of democracy.
