Edgemere Kicks Off “Walk To Wellness” Campaign with a Little Friendly Competition
“Everyone loves a friendly competition, and it’s even better when the end goal is better health,” said Lorraine Rose, lifestyles director at Edgemere. “Ron and Charles are both bigger than life personalities, and I know they will add a lot of fun to their teams while competing for the pizza party prize. I look forward to watching the competition unfold over the next six weeks.”
The Walk to Wellness campaign is just another way that Edgemere is integrating the Masterpiece Living program into resident’s daily lives. Masterpiece Living is a nationally renowned initiative for personal growth and wellness at any age in the areas of intellectual, physical, emotional, social and spiritual. A direct descendant of the research on aging, Masterpiece Living is an innovative program that maximizes a positive approach to life so that aging becomes a vibrant period of growth and success. The Walk to Wellness campaign also encourages positive resident and staff interaction as the teams bond while competing for the pizza prize!
With 304 independent living apartment homes, 60 assisted living suites, 31 memory care private apartments, and 72 private rooms for dignified skilled nursing, Edgemere is the largest and most comprehensive life care senior living community in Dallas.
