    Third day of coup in Chiang Mai

    Pro government protesters gathered at the north side of Chiang Mai old city, a previously used protest site.The army placed troops here since the coup and there was around 60 armed soldiers this evening. Pro government supporters gathered and lit candles asking for the end of the coup. Three people were arrested. There was no use weapons during the arrests. The three people were put in the police truck and taken away. No one was injured and the protesters dispersed around 9pm on Saturday in May 24th 2014
