This iReport is part of an assignment:
The best things about Poland
The Vistula River - Kraków
I went to Kraków quite on impulse last year as I was able to snag some cheap flight tickets from Ireland - and it didn't disappoint. It was -5 degrees and the entire city was covered in snow which made for some gorgeous views of the Vistula river and nearby castle. It was nothing like I had ever seen before, being from a tropical and relatively young, modern country myself (Singapore), it was a real treat to find myself standing on the banks of the largest river in Poland and taking in the incredible view of a city where centuries-old architecture continues to exist alongside the new.
