CNN PRODUCER NOTE jzee6 told me, 'This was Easter, 1967. We always went to visit my mom's sisters houses on Easter. This photo was taken in front of my Aunt Elaine's house. We all lived in the same neighborhood, having all moved there from North Philly in the early 1960s. I was born in Swampoodle (Ringgold Street), and moved to the Far Northeast in 1966. One by one, every one of my mom's sisters and one brother (that would be five siblings in all out of six) moved to the Far Northeast section of Parkwood, so it was very easy to visit all of them. All of our cousins were our best friends. We played together and spent almost every weekend together in the summers. And especially holidays. Big Italian holidays! It instilled in me a responsibility and a need to stay close to my relatives. I still see my one remaining aunt every holiday of every season and my young children look at her as sort of a grandmother. I love talking about those times - there will never be anything like it again.'
