    Fixed Gear Bike, Fixed my Life

    I'm Carlo Ong, from Philippines Batangas, once an obese, I weighed 106kg February Last Year. I spent most of my time just eating , playing computer games and that's it.

    My family kept on telling me that I should exercise, consider shedding some weight, but I didn't wanted to, why pay just to go to the gym.

    So how did my losing weight started? Pretty funny actually, it was when I watched this movie about Fixed Gear Bikes, I got me wanting to ride a bike again. So I went to our local bike shop here, and Got myself my Fixed Gear Bike.

    At first it was just for fun, but as I ride my bike, I got even more hooked in riding it.

    Then I said to myself, this will be my "Gym" instead of investing my money on just going to the gym, I just upgraded my bike. It was also a good motivation for me, I wanted to ride my bike even more because I practically put all my money into it.

    I didn't know that there were already fixed gear riders at my place, When I went to got my bike fixed, they invited me to go ride with them.

    After a month of riding, i Lost around 4kg, and that I was it.Finally something that I enjoyed doing also helped me in getting into shape. After a year with discipline and proper diet, I am now 75KG. From 2XL size shirt, Size 40 Pants, I am now Medium and a size 32.
