    Camelopardalid Meteor Persistent Train

I was snapping test photos out past Vernon, Utah and unknowingly captured this meteor train.

I was taking test shots of the wildflowers against the Milky Way and quickly realized that something had appeared on the viewfinder. I blew off my lens and sensor thinking it was dust but the object persistently showed up.

I returned home disappointed not knowing what I had captured. I tweeted this photo to @BadAstronomer and received a prompt response explaining that it was a meteor train.

I had some luck with this shot!
