$100.00 per hour Minimum Wage Law

Due to my background in economics and finance, I have always had opposition toward a set minimum wage required by law.

But after some thought, I changed my mind.

Some have proposed a $15.00 per hour minimum wage. I really don’t understand this. If you’re going to protest why not get more. Why not get $25.00, $50.00, or even $100.00?

I mean if we can set the law to whatever we want and make them pay us, then let’s set it at a level that works for us.

On second thought, let’s set the minimum wages at $300.00 per hour. I mean seriously, this isn’t about being paid for qualifications or anything like that. This isn’t a debate about what the employers think about our production. This is us Americans taking control of our destiny through the vote to pay ourselves what we think we deserve.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I have paid my dues and I deserve at least $500.00 per hour.

I’m going to the protest tomorrow and I’ll be holding a sign. But it won’t say $15.00 per hour. It will say $500.00 per hour. Because if I can set the standard, then I can set it where I want!

Why would this be a problem?
