    The best things about Poland

    Polish Castles

Did you know there are more than 200 castles or castle ruins in Poland? We didn't either! Polish Castles aren't talked about as much as ones in say, England, Scotland or Germany. However, the castles that we've seen so far are beautiful and definitely worth exploring.

Learning more about the Polish Castles such as this one pictured, the Ruins of the Mazovian Dukes’ Castle (Ruiny Zamku Książąt Mazowieckich), is one of the best things about Poland.

You'll find these Gothic castle ruins, dating back to the 14th-16th centuries, about 40 km south of Warsaw in the tiny town of Czersk.
