    Moths in love

Cecropia Moths live only two weeks. They don't eat, and fly only at night. They truly exist for one reason, to reproduce. These reproduced all day, literally. The female on the left emits pheromones which the male, on the right, senses with his antennae. She will then lay eggs that will hatch in roughly ten days and produce wildly colorful caterpillars that will then hibernate in cocoons for about ten months before emerging as North America's largest moth.
