    Malta International Airport Evacuated

The Malta International Airport has been evacuated after reports of explosives being found in unidentified luggage.

The Mediterranean island, Europe's closet boarder to Tripoli, Libya and the North African coast has in the past been a safe passage for terrorist cells operating in the region.

In recent news the Maltese Government was selling Maltese passports for very low market prices, raising concerns that terrorist cells might cash in on such an opportunity gaining free passage to the European Union and the USA.
