    Wizard World Atlanta

The Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta plays host to another geek-centric convention this weekend and there is plenty to see and do!

In attendance are cast and crew from your favorite TV shows, comic book artists, tons of exhibitors, vendors and of course, costumers of all kinds.

A long list of Q&A sessions in the main auditorium brought in fans to listen to stories from the set and maybe have the chance to ask a question of the star they admire most.

Karen Gillan - who played Doctor Who companion; Amy Pond was a big draw this afternoon. Moderated by Aaron Sagers, the panel discussion covered Gillan's work on Doctor Who as well as her upcoming projects Selfies and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Straight after that, Michael Rooker; most recently known for his role as big brother Merle Dixon in The Walking Dead, took the stage. After 20 minutes of your standard Q&A session, Rooker announced that the next part would be "rapid fire questions and answers", to which he often responded with quick retorts in the style that only Michael Rooker can.

The rainy afternoon didn't dampen my spirits as I left the show floor with some great photos and a smile on my face, eager to see what tomorrow will bring in the land of "Geek-lanta"
