This iReport is part of an assignment:
The best things about Poland
For me the best thing about Poland are the people, and very much the men and women selling at the local markets. Their life is everything else but easy, often it is rainy and cold and very muddy. Nevertheless, you will find the most amazing and lovely people. Helpful, warm-hearted and very humorous. I am originally from Munich and I am living in Warsaw since four years now. For me Poland is a country that fits perfectly to the saying: What goes around, comes around’. If you meet a man or a woman on the street walking your dog, in the shops getting your groceries or on the markets buying your fresh vegetable, your behavior makes all the difference. You can have the most funniest conversations with the postman, the most charming chat with the 78 years old neighbor, you can easily find a delivery man who helps you carrying a table from one room to another or a tour guide showing you pictures of his new born baby ……if you show that you care. I love the Poles!
Look at the eyes of this man selling drugstore articles at Konstancin market. This is exactly what I am talking about.
