Counter productive media in Pakistan.
During Chaudary Iftikhars campaign media shuttered the foundations of a disciplined culture and street violence has been preached as a mean to secure legal rights. Instead of advocating the necessity of submission before Supreme Judicial Council the media encouraged propagated and popularized the concept that for achieving ones right one need not go to court but rather take to street and by volcanic demonstrations should achieve the relief. The media did not inform the people that Socrates was great because to judiciary and sacrificed his life and became great and shall live till eternity. Instead of projecting philosophy of Socrates, media without any exception is guilty of creating undisciplined tendencies among the masses. It is for this reason that street crime rate in Pakistan has increased after Chaudary Iftikhar's relinquished offices. The same reason has now started mockery of its yesterday's heroes.
Pakistani media needs revolutionary reforms to become productive organ of state. These days’ media houses in-fight is also evidence of media manager’s irresponsibility, avarice and jealousy with one another. The issue of Hamid Mir has been blown out of proportion and the most important organ of state has been made topic of discussion in every house. The issue of blasphemy has been made topic of talks not with religious sincerity but mainly to damage a particular media house.
In these critical days instead of educating the directionless masses people are of no significance and the earlier tried ones are being projected as the future saviors of the country. The electronic media in Pakistan has to be controlled if elimination
