    FreeCreditReport not letting customers log in - Possibly they were hacked

     
    I have been a paying member of (not so) FreeCreditReport.com for over three years. Last week I went to log in and it wouldn't let me. I clicked the link "having difficulty log gin in," put in my name - social - and birthdate, and it said that it did not recognize me!!!! I called them last week, only to speak to someone who barely speaks English, and was told that FreeCreditReport.com was "fixing their system," and that my call was going to be sent up to their technical team. THAT WAS FIVE DAYS AGO. I tried logging on again today, and still - "We do not recognize you!!!!" So I called in again today, and I got the same run-around. I CANNOT LOG ON, even if someone has stolen my identity!!! Meanwhile, they are STILL CHARGING me for my membership! And, if they are having a system wide issue, then why didn't they send E-mails out to their PAYING CUSTOMERS notifying them of this issue. I think they were hacked, and they are not telling anyone.
