These are some of the features of the first mountaineering shoes I bought last 2011 for the price of P9,000 ... My Columbia high cut shoes lasted for two years climbing the highest mountain in the Philippines... (including the highest in Luzon and Visayan Islands)to the wildest terrain of Mt. Madjaas, Mt. Halcon and Mt. Guiting-Guiting among others... Last October, 2013 my shoe grip finally gave up after climbing 15 exciting and difficult terrains around the Philippines...
Last January, 2014, I bought Salomon shoes for P8,000 and had climed two of the most difficult mountain in the Philippines, Mt. Mantalinjagan in Palawan and Mt. Sicapoo in Ilocos... This week, I just bought Fila Everest shoes with original price of P7,800 but I got it for almost 60% discount for the price of 3,000 pesos.
