    Guns and children

    My Child and Guns

As my headline suggest the two of these (my child and guns) in one setting, this would never be the case in my household. I have never seen a need for something so pore. Guns do not serve enough of a good purpose for me to find them needed in any society. I did grow up with them in my grandparent's house hold. I come from a long like of P.O. and military. I was taught to respect guns in that you leave them alone unless NEEDED. You learn how they work, and then put them away and NEVER point one loaded or not at anyone. So as an adult I do repeat these things to my child. BUT I do not have them in my house, and I do not want them in anyone's house. Sense how I feel doesn't make a difference in the matter, at the same time I tell my kid those things I also tell her that guns are ridiculous. Guns are an easy way for people to hurt other people or themselves. I tell her that in today's world humans more and more like to take the easy way out. My child is one of the most loving you would ever meet. So I believe I am doing something right. Hopefully we do not run into one of the ones who are not that lucky to have the love we do in their hearts.I tell my child that there are many people in this country and elsewhere who simply do not understand a life without certain security blankets.
