    Military court keeps Thai anti-coup activist detained

    Thai democracy activist, Mr. Sombat Boonngamanong, walking out from the military court. He was arrested by the ruling junta last week.

    Mr. Sombat who is also known as @nuling on Twitter started the peaceful anti-coup flash mob campaigns after the army declared martial law and disposed the caretaker Government.

    The military court rejected bail request. Sombat is still detained at a secret army location. Court official said that the activist's "crimes are severe" and if he was to be released it would initiate chaos among the Thai people.

    In the meantime, the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) chief, Mr. Suthep Thaugsuban is free to walk despite the mass riots and violence associated with his anti-democracy mob.
