    Dutch and Belgians cheering together

     

    In the two towns Baarle-Nassau (the Netherlands) and Baarle-Hertog (Belgium), often referred to as Baarle, both the Dutch and Belgians cheer together for their teams in the local pubs and bars.  The town has exclaves which means that parts of Belgium are completely surrounded by land of the Netherlands, a complicated mix of borders is the result. But both nationalities live together in peace and as you can see on the pictures both countries are cheered for in this extraordinary piece of Holland and Belgium.  Pictures from http://www.netherlands-tourism.com (my website)
