    Fire in Downtown Alexandria, Louisiana

    As businesses in downtown Alexandria, Louisiana are closing on Tuesday afternoon, the Alexandria Fire Department began to battle the flames of a fire raging in a downtown building.  The building is located on Winn and Main Streets in the business district near the TREE House Children's Museum.  There were no injuries reported, but the building was destroyed as a result of the blaze.  The fire's origin has not been reported at this time.
