    Grumari and Prainha in Rio...

Declared Environmental Protection Area in 1987 the beach Grumari kept his rugged looks very green and clear waters. Like Prainha, she is also a shrine still preserved.

Located right off the beach of Macumba, separated by a hill, access is by car. It is approximately 4 km long and is surely one of the most beautiful beaches of Rio de Janeiro.

This beach is also perfect for the the surf waves, but it is good to remember that it is recommended to attend over the weekend to have a little more security, because as it is very desolate and remote ends up being a bit risky.

The landscape is formed by hills covered with salt marsh vegetation and access is by paved road that connects the bar to Prainha Guaratiba the coastline.
