    To Achim Steiner UN Under-Secretary General and UNEP Executive Director   Subject: WED should be the Mass People Program   Dear Sir   `The world is heading for irreversible and potential catastrophic climate change. Nature never bother’s super power or poorer - demands absolute care. Present Globe/Humanity demand’s Climate Responsible Community, Climate Compatible Development.’ World Environment Day or any initiative aimed at better environment need to include each person from each corner of globe.   World Environment Day (WED) is the biggest positive occasion for each across the globe. The theme decided for the globe that can capture the expert and few people related with environmental initiative, project, activities etc. Virtually present celebration cannot encompass the mass people. Most of the people cannot even think about what is the goal, objective and activities of this function/celebration/occasion. To attain the ultimate goal of WED the WED theme needed to be translated into mass people role, action across the globe.     In Bangladesh WED celebrated in each town by the government officials in collaboration of civil society and media organization. Some teachers and students from different level of educational institution participate in WED program. And this participation and total function might be very charming to the participant but mass people are totally
