    Countdown to Carnegie

In 48 hours Siam Sinfonietta will become the first Thai orchestra to make it to Carnegie Hall!  Here's a brief clip where you will see them "practice, practice, practice…."

Founded in 2010 as a working demonstration of the "Somtow method", the Sinfonietta gathers together the best of young classical musicians in Thailand ages 12-25.  The orchestra won first prize at the Summa Cum Laude Festival in Vienna, and went on to receive many other awards and honours.

They perform at the Sounds of Summer Festival in Carnegie Hall on June 17th.
