    Not all Mcdonalds Kid friendly

my son turned 7 on may 27th..We took him out to clearwater Florida for his first beach experience. We arrived on the 26 and much to our surprise my son awoke on his Birthday looking like theodore from the chipmunks on the right side of his face...we spent three hours at clearwater hospital..learned he had an abcess on his gum...nevertheless we still tried to make the best of his 7th birthday...on our way to the beach we spotted a Mcdonalds...Every kid loves mcdonalds...well up until this we pulled through the drive through we saw they were having 2.19 happy meal day...well my son began to cry and we discovered the reason being was that he wanted the toy but the pain was too much for the we ask the cashier if we can purchase a the milk shake alone and still get the toy..we explain it was his birthday and the whole mouth situation..not to mention my son was crying in the back seat and the milk shake alone was more than the price of the happy meal. The cashier agreed and told us to pull we pulled forward i left the car to head inside for i stood in line i heard commotion from the drive through...The voice of my fiance arguing with the manager...i saw the manager slam the window and say to her co worker..."this guy think we gone give his son a toy just because its the boy birthday" I asked her was she the Manager and she was I explained to her that the cashier said it was fine...much to my surprise...i was told "at the end of the day McDonalds wants their money its not about making kids happy"  We got a full refund asked for thier main office number and left...called their main office immediately...left message with return call as of yet
