Seattle Rose Garden Under Summer Skies
The Woodland Park Rose Garden, adjacent to Seattle's zoo, was stablished by the Park Board and the Seattle Rose Society in 1922. It was "made possible by efforts of the Lions Club and is dedicated to rose lovers of Seattle,” its website states.
An official "Rose Test Garden" you will find displays of over 200 rose varieties including new rose hybrids before they become available to amateur rose enthusiasts including hybrid tea roses like the "Liverpool Remembers" and the "Betty White".
The rose-colored two and a half acre canvas yields other flowers, topiary trees and fountains.
