    Denver PrideFest

Celebrating the heritage and culture of Colorado's LGBT community, Denver PrideFest is one of the largest celebrations of its kind in the nation. The parade passes right by The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, the mother church for Catholics in Colorado. I witnessed a few people standing in front of the church denouncing homosexuality and calling for all the sinners to repent. Their message was largely ignored by the happy masses celebrating freedom and individuality.
