    Yulin, China

    What's for dinner? Fido!

I was reading about the annual dog meat festival in Yulin, China. It would seem some love dogs in a different way than we're accustomed too. Purportedly, China consumes around 100,000/year. Part of me sees this as disgusting. Part of me sees this as nothing of consequence. I'm partial to eating pig. Some have pet pigs. Very little difference from a meat eating perspective. However, activists come to the festival every year to save a few dogs from being eaten. Good for them. To all the alternative dog lovers, bon appetit.
