    Van Aralan (Mobile computer school)

    “In many Filipinos June is the month were the school year starts, but for the previous months of April and May some students enter a vocational course or summer class. A foundation called AiHu a christian organization take this opportunity to give a summer class for Computer literacy for free.

    The Computer Van Aralan program is founded on 2004 to help computer literacy to the less fortunate individuals ranging from 15-50 years of age, the program have been to Albay, Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Iloilo, Laguna, Metro Manila, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Quezon, Sorsogon, Tarlac and Zambales. A 40 footer container van was modified, fitted with aircon and 20 computer units to serve as their mobile class rooms every unit of classrooms have two instructors teaching alternately to the five classes per day for 3 weeks.
